THE WORKOUTS AT ALDGATE

HIIT&RUN

40, 50 or 60-minute sessions combining treadmill intervals with targeted strength training on the floor. Expect a mix of sprints, hills and steady efforts designed to challenge cardiovascular endurance and build speed. These running blocks are paired with strength work using weights, kettlebells, medballs and bodyweight to develop full-body strength and resilience. Each day focuses on a specific muscle group, giving every session a clear purpose while keeping the training varied and engaging. Every class finishes with our Signature Recovery. No running experience required.

STRENGTH REFORMER

45–50 minute small-group classes that bring the principles of strength training onto the reformer. Classes are structured around progressive load, control and time under tension, using springs, dumbbells and smart exercise combinations to build strength and endurance. Classes move through a range of exercises on the reformer, creating a dynamic strength workout that keeps the body continuously challenged. Our studios are equipped with jumpboards, boxes, rings and dumbbells, giving our trainers the tools to bring creativity to their programming. While the foundations stay rooted in strength training, every class feels fresh and a little different. Each class finishes with our Signature Recovery.

We recommend starting with our Foundations class. Advanced classes are not suitable for first timers.

A 50 minute small group class focused on building strength, improving range of motion and moving with confidence. Each day has a specific body focus. Every class finishes with our signature recovery. No experience required.

Mikey

Mikey is a fitness instructor by day & a west performer by night. He strives to make a positive change on a client's own journey each class whilst bringing energy and huge beats. Mikey believes the only person standing in your own way is you. Everything can be overcome and conquered with a good solid mindset leading the way. He also understands progress isn’t linear and there will bumps in the road. And whether you’re feeling like a superhero or having a bit of an off day he strives to make a positive impact and make you feel strong!

Ruth

Ruth swapped the corporate life for a better life, after discovering the impact that moving her body had on her mental health.

In Ruth’s classes, be prepared to work as hard as her playlists. From Space Jam themed change overs, to HipHop Thursdays to Fred Again (again again and again). Don’t be fooled by that unwavering smile, Ruth will push you to dig deep and bring the energy to match the vibes in the studio. 

Her mission is to help clients join the dots between mind and body, proving that one is only as strong as the other.

And to quote one of her favourite athletes Michael Johnson “As strong as my legs were, it was my mind that made me a champion.”

Gee

Gee has been a dedicated Senior FOH member for the past two years, passionate about VS and its ethos. She's buzzing to step into her new role as a trainer.

Gee is a natural performer, having trained as an actor and she's thrilled to have found a career that ignites her passion just as much as acting does. 

Her family finds it amusing that the little drama queen who always wanted to be carried (as a toddler, though she wouldn’t mind if someone offered now) and couldn’t catch a ball, is now a trainer.

Gee fell in love with fitness and experienced its transformative impact on her life and mental health. She's determined to share this positive energy with others, proving that training is for everyone (and she's proof!). She promises that working out can be incredibly fun too.

Expect 00s remixes, high energy, and a lotta love in her sessions. Don’t be fooled by her red hair and big smile—she’ll push you to your limits while supporting you every step of the way, helping you discover just how amazing you truly are.

Katie

Katie, an Aussie reformer instructor, is here to help you reach your goals in a dynamic, challenging and energising environment. Whether you’re just starting out or a fitness enthusiast, her focus is on making every session enjoyable while still pushing you to work hard.

Her classes are designed to test your limits, get your heart pumping and leave you feeling stronger, more confident and full of energy. Kate believes fitness should be something you look forward to, not something you dread, so expect variety, challenge and a dose of fun in every workout.

Jordan is all about bringing the heat to every class. His infectious enthusiasm and unwavering passion will electrify the room, setting the stage for an adrenaline-pumping workout like no other. Stevie

“Fall down 7 times get up 8” is a mantra that Stevie lives by, fail and fall all you want, as long as you get up and go again! As a professional actor you’re guaranteed a performance, his infectious energy combined with a banging and diverse playlist will keep the lights on even on the darkest of days. 

With 25 years of Muay Thai experience, training and fighting out of Bad Company gym in Leeds, Hanuman gym in Darlington and 4 months of living and training in Thailand, a degree in Sport and Nutrition and 8 years as Crossfit Coach you can be sure you’ll be guided through your workout with a wealth of knowledge. Fun fact about Stevie, he was a competitor on the TV game show Total Wipeout and won. If you ask him nicely he’ll give you the YouTube link”

Ammie

Don’t be fooled by Ammie's laid-back and silly vibes outside class, once that door is closed you will be put to the test with no nonsense programming set to the backdrop of uplifting and motivating bangers. She knows how to encourage you while pushing you out of your comfort zone and will even be your friend at the end of it. Whether you're running, boxing, or getting your burn on in reformer expect a class that will leave you feeling stronger week after week. If you are after a challenge Ammie's class is for you!

Hannah

Group exercise is my passion. There is nothing better than bringing a room full of people together to challenge their limits and leave them feeling wowed by what they have achieved. I work hard to deliver classes to the highest of standards, ensuring I give everyone in that room the feeling that I am invested in giving them the best possible workout. My classes are fun, fresh, energetic and always buzzing.

I believe fitness, health and well-being is achievable for everyone. My style of training is to get people mentally strong, have belief, and achieved things that leave them with a feeling of accomplishment, positivity and joy. 

For me, a strong mind, means a strong body and these must come together for people to truly live, happier and healthier. 

My mantra is mindset is everything.

The one you love to hate! Seon is a trainer who thrives on getting the best out of everyone around him. Equipped with a sadistic nature and super villain-esq laugh, expect to be pushed to your limits in the best way possible.

A huge amount of experience competing in several sports, not only means he's well versed on the physicality of training, but the mental side as well. As an athlete, consistency takes centre stage, and Seon is here to help you create long-lasting healthy habits.

Come for the training, stay for the music, pure vibes might just have you addicted to his classes.

Maria

From day dot Maria has always had a passion for moving her body.  From dancing from a tiny age, to professionally, (to in da club cos she’s a party gal at heart) and then moving into fitness. With all sorts of physical hobbies alongside from netball to badminton to rock climbing. And she now loves passing on this passion of moving to others, specialising in strength training, boxing and mobility. Our bodies are made to move and she believes everyone can and should find a way of moving that they enjoy, where they can appreciate their body for what it can do. So be sure to be pushed to your limits in her classes, there’ll always be an element of a challenge, where it’s you against the clock, seeing what you can achieve. Expect the perfect balance of light and jokey and educational and informative. All to banging tunes in Maria’s true party gal spirit.
